Tick Tech Talks UG (“we”, “our”, “us”) is committed to protecting and respecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal data when you use our website, purchase tickets, or sign up for the newsletter.
Data Collection and Use
- No Data Collection
We do not collect or process any personal data directly on our website. We do not use cookies, and we do not display any advertisements. - Ticket Purchases
When you purchase tickets for one of the tech conferences, you will be redirected to Stripe, a secure third-party payment processor. Stripe handles all payment transactions and processes your personal data, including payment information. We do not store or process your payment details on our servers.
After the payment is completed, we receive your email address from Stripe to send you your tickets. This email address is temporarily stored for the sole purpose of sending your tickets and is deleted after the tickets have been sent.

If you choose to sign up for our newsletter, you will be redirected to SubStack, a third-party platform that handles newsletter subscriptions and email communications. SubStack processes your personal data, including your email address, for the purpose of sending you our newsletters. We do not store or process your email address for the newsletter subscription on our servers. After purchasing a ticket, you will receive a Google Form asking for your email and some general questions such as the size of your company, your continent, programming languages you use, etc. This information is used to create anonymized statistical charts. The data collected in the Google Form is anonymized and used solely for statistical purposes.
Additionally, any emails sent to us will be stored on Gmail, a third-party email service provided by Google. This includes any responses the tickets emails or other communications.

Those who choose to submit a talk in the call for papers will be redirected to Sessionize. Everyone whose talk gets chosen receives an invite to fill out a Google Form confirming their participation, sent as a message over the Sessionize platform. Everyone else receives a rejection message over the Sessionize platform.
